These terrariums make great gifts as they are very low maintenance, needing water only up to once a year. You know those people that always say they kill plants?! If ordering in advance for a gift or for Christmas, the live moss is bagged up so will be ok left inside the box for at least 3-4 weeks before being used for the Terrarium The plants are also packaged so that they can be left in their plastic pots for a couple of weeks at least without opening (they will need sunlight after a week or so to survive, but can still be left in their pot).
