My name is Rose and I created Jungle Botanics as a way to share my passion for plants and natural world with you all.
I was lucky enough to discover my passion for floristry and plants early on and I’ve been a florist for over 10 years now.
I started Jungle Botanics whilst living in Melbourne and when it was time to move home to be closer to family and to put down roots, it was a no brainer that I would continue to create Terrariums from my new home on the beautiful Kapiti Coast in Aotearoa/New Zealand.
I am incredibly grateful to be able to do what I love every day. The magic of capturing a small slice of nature within a glass vessel that is a self sustaining ecosystem never ceases to amaze me and brings me joy every day.
All my terrariums are sealed ecosystems, meaning that they create their own natural water cycle within. The water condensates on the glass and then falls back down to the ground, beautifully mimicking Mother Nature.
I love that I can create something that is easy for people to care for and is also a unique and long lasting gift. I believe that nature heals, soothes and clears our head and that if we can all have a little bit of nature close by - we are happier.
My goal is to bring a bit of that happiness into your home, workplace or help you to share it with a loved one.
My terrariums are all lovingly curated by me at my home on the Kapiti Coast, and with years of experience working with plants, I make sure each ecosystem has everything it needs to thrive and live a long and happy life.
